| | Tyres Measure the depth of tread and check the pattern of wear. Check the inflation pressures (including the spare wheel). If the pattern of wear is uneven, check the toe-in and adjust as necessary. The tyres incorporate wear indicators in the form of smooth, treadless stripes across the width of the tyre which become visible when only 1.6 mm of the tread remains. When this happens the tyres should be changed. Make sure you are familiar with the national regulations on tread depth.
