Coolant, changing
Change the coolant (max. 3-year intervals).
Fill the system when the engine is cold but not above the MAX level mark. Warm up the engine until the thermostat opens and check the level of the coolant.
Cooling system capacities: B206i, B234i, B204L: 8.5 litres B258i: 8.0 litres

Bleeding

Start the engine and run it at idling speed until the radiator fan starts (4-cyl) or has started three times (6-cyl).

If the car is equipped with a petrol-driven parking heater, bleed the system by removing the upper hose. If air is present in the system when the parking heater is started, it could be damaged. Start the heater and allow it to run for a while when the radiator fan has started.
