| | Toe-in Note the following when checking and/or adjusting toe-in with special tool No. 88 19 013: | • | Check and adjust tyre inflation pressures. | • | Toe-in 1.5 ± 0.5 mm (0.06 ± 0.02 in). | • | Always carry out adjustment on both tie rods. The maximum permissible difference in tie-rod length is 5 mm. | • | After adjustment, check the straight-ahead position of the steering wheel when driving the car on test. Tightening torque: Track rod clamp bolts 22 Nm (16 lbf ft) | Important | Apply anti-rust agent to the adjusting screw threads at the slightest sign of corrosion. |
