| | Ventilation air filter Change the filter element. | • | Bend up the lugs (1) holding the filter element in place. Remove the filter element (2). | • | Fit a new filter element and secure it with the lugs. When driving in exceptionally dusty or polluted environmental conditions, or in the case of susceptibility to allergic disorders, changing the filter element at more frequent intervals is recommended. Pull off the drain hose and clean it. Refit the hose. Make sure that it is properly seated and secure.
