Ignition, anti-theft alarm
|
Ignition
The ignition switch is connected to the control module (pin 10) so that the control module will be able to detect the voltage (+12 V) when the ignition is turned "ON" (+15). The alarm will be set off if it is armed, i.e. when a start attempt is made, the alarm and the "3-circuit break" (blocking of operating current to starter and fuel pump relays and +15 to the engine management system) will both be tripped.
| Important
|
Observe the following:
| • |
The anti-theft alarm cannot be armed if the ignition is "ON" (+15).
| • |
The anti-theft alarm will automatically disarm if the ignition is turned "ON" (+15) during the alarm delay period.
