Is ISAT indicating the correct value? | yes Continue with point 5. | no Continue with point 4. 4 Check the door switch's connection to ground | - | Remove the door switch. | - | Clean the contact surfaces and refit the door switch. | - | Check the operation of the door switch using the ISAT scan tool as in point 2. Is the function correct? | yes The remedial measures taken were correct or the fault is of intermittent nature. | no Change the door switch. 5 Check the wiring connected to the electronic control module Check the wiring harness for continuity between the door switch and pin 18 of the electronic control module. The resistance should be < 1 ohm Is the resistance correct? | yes Continue with point 6. | no Repair or replace the wiring harness. 6 Final check Check to see if the fault symptom remains. Is the problem still present? | yes See "Before replacing a control module". | no The remedial measures taken were correct or the fault is of intermittent nature.
