| | Lighting (headlamps, light clusters, other lights) Check the front and rear lighting systems, direction indicators, brake lights, high-level brake light, reversing lights, rear fog lights and number plate illumination. | Indicator and warning lamps: Turn the ignition switch to the Drive position and check that the indicator and warning lamps light up as shown. The lamps will light up for about three seconds. Check that the "lights on" indicator lamp lights up when the headlamps and parking lights are switched on. Check that the "door open" indicator lamp lights up if any door is open or not closed properly. | Headlamps (not US/CA) Check the condition and alignment of the headlamps. Before adjustment: | • | Check that all tyres are inflated to the correct pressure. | • | Make sure there is no luggage in the car. | • | Check the amount of fuel in the tank.
