| | Replacement of front secondary air injection pipe (6 cyl.) | 1. | Remove the engine's protective covers. | 2. | Remove the engine's covers. Remove the heat shield over the exhaust manifold and undo the screws which hold the injection pipe to the exhaust manifold. | 3. | Separate the pipe to the rear exhaust manifold from the hose. | 4. | Remove the air hoses to the check valves and remove the bracket complete with pipes. | 5. | Fit the injection pipes using new gaskets and hang the bracket in its place without tightening the bolt. | 6. | Tighten the screws for the injection pipes. Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft). | 7. | Tighten the screw which holds the bracket. Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft). | 8. | Refit the pipes to the rear exhaust manifold. | 9. | Fit the check valves. Tightening torque 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft). | 10. | Reconnect the air hoses to the check valves. | 11. | Fit the heat shield over the exhaust manifold. | 12. | Fit the engine covers.
