Antonie and his passion for Saab in the Netherlands

Antonie, based in the Netherlands, has successfully combined his skills in automotive engineering and IT to specialize in tuning Saab engine management systems, particularly the Trionic 8 (T8).

An atypical career path

Antonie began his automotive career as a mechanic within the VAG group. At the age of 30, he transitioned into the IT field, where he currently serves as an IT Manager, overseeing an infrastructure that supports 80 employees daily.

Interest in Saab

For 16 years, Antonie has driven Saab vehicles. His interest led him to develop specific expertise in tuning engine management systems. This know-how allows him to resolve complex issues that standard tools, such as the Tech2, cannot address. By utilizing software cloning methods, he restores and replaces faulty T8 ECUs, providing sustainable solutions for Saab owners.

Antonie owns two Saab models: a 2010 Saab 9-3X 2.0T in grey and a 2010 Saab 9-3 Cabriolet TX TiD in white.

Future projects

Antonie intends to use his platform to foster technical exchanges and knowledge sharing within the Saab community. He also plans to explore modern solutions for diagnostic and programming tasks, moving beyond traditional hardware limitations.
